Reflex points on the soles of the feet are gently manipulated using light pressure mainly with the therapist’s thumbs. The nerve endings from the body’s organs and areas of the body end in the soles of the feet. Through manipulation of these reflex points, signals are transported through these nerve endings to the spine (central nervous system) and out to the corresponding organ, gland or muscle, where blocked energy is released bringing balance back into the body’s systems.
